Agreement to terms

By accessing TX Local Weekly's website, subscribing to our newsletter, or using any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

The Services are operated by TX Local Weekly LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms apply to visitors and subscribers in the United States unless we say otherwise.

Donations and payments

If you make a donation or payment through our site, your transaction is processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms and privacy policy govern payment information they collect. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Services and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep information accurate and timely, but we do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TX Local Weekly LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), if you have not paid us anything.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify TX Local Weekly LLC against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we may also notify newsletter subscribers by email. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that courts in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Services, except where prohibited by law.
