Commission Calls Public Hearings on Preston-Parker Zoning Request and Sign Regulations Update

The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission took up two items on August 17, both tied to future public hearings. One involves a zoning request at Preston Road and Parker Road, while the other concerns a proposed update to sign regulations.

Public Hearing Called For Preston And Parker Zoning Request

Commissioners voted 7-0 to call a public hearing on a request to amend Plan Development 184 on 31.3 acres at the northeast corner of Preston Road and Parker Road. Staff said the applicant, Tames Financial Services, LTD, wants to modify an existing stipulation relating to uses in tract two. Staff also said the plan development has multiple property owners and the applicant had obtained some, but not all, of the required owner signatures to submit the zoning application.
